WHO ARE WE?

The Association of Pharmaceutical Medicine Singapore (APMS) is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2006, run by and for physicians and scientists in pharmaceutical companies and allied organisations in Singapore. Affiliated to the Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians & Pharmaceutical Medicine (www.ifapp.org), the purpose of the APMS is to enhance the knowledge, expertise, and skills of physicians and scientists in our organisations thereby enabling us to better support the availability and appropriate use of pharmaceutical medicines for the benefit of patients and society as a whole. Our online discussion platforms, educational events, and networking sessions help our members to actively engage with each other to exchange ideas and knowledge around areas of mutual interest. We foster open discussion and debate around all relevant topics. The APMS engenders a spirit of partnership and mutual understanding between all professionals working in the field of pharmaceutical medicine: professionals working in pharmaceutical companies and allied organisations, academia, regulatory bodies, authorities and policy makers. Our overarching aim is to support the healthcare community in Singapore and other countries in the region to improve the lives of their patients.
